For the Northeast Generals’ NAHL team, they need players with top end potential. One of them is Forwaed Ryan Gordon. Head Coach Bryan Erikson said of Gordon’s skill that “ Ryan Gordon has been our most consistent 200 foot player. He is super skilled but is also great in the faceoff circle, on the forecheck in the D zone and very creative with the puck on his stick. He is just a great hockey player that is going to be a monster down the stretch and make a D1 team very happy once they commit him.”
On elements of his game that have improved Erikson added “I think his patience has developed the most. He has calmed down on the ice. Not as much in a rush to get up the ice. His patience has allowed him to round out his game in the D zone without sacrificing his dynamic offensive skills. His work ethic is also off the charts. Always in early, staying late. He is a perfectionist. And it is showing in his game. Just love his compete and his ability to get greasy goals along with highlight reel goals.”
