NAHL Northeast Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson talked a lot about his team’s split this weekend against Danbury. Now his Generals need to win as many of their remaining games as possible and get some help along the way as well.
“Really disappointed by our effort on Friday. We are playing a must win game and we come out flat. Lay a complete egg and lost 3-0. It was tough. We talked as a team on Saturday and just about how we want to remember this season, no matter the outcome, and how we want to play. The boys responded with our most complete 60 minutes of the season. We were absolutely dominant in all phases of the game. Something we will need to continue over our next 5 games. We don’t control our own destiny anymore. So we need to win and watch. But the focus of the players can only be on us. We feel we have a team that can win every night but it’s been frustrating with the numerous ups and downs.”
