CPH: Week in Review

Ahead of more play this weekend, let’s look back at last week’s CPH action. Troy Schwab takes us through nearly all teams in action.

“18u AA lost two one-goal games at Junior Huricanes Red at Invisalign Arena, losing 3-2 on Sat and 4-3 on Sun.

Shane Phillips performed solidly in goal in both games as Joe Masullo sat out with an illness.

Joe Danker had the first goal in both games.

CPH had two goal leads in both games before running out of gas.

The Canes scored the game winning goal on Sunday on a penalty shot with 17 seconds left.

10u went to Hershey PA! Lost all 4 games but had a great time and lots of team bonding.”

The 12u team took us through their weekend. This recap comes from Jeff Holdenrid.

“12U traveled to Columbus OH this weekend. Could not ask for better weather for this event. Three rinks, fair grounds, and a van full of gear. Team came out strong winning their opening game 8-2 against our neighbors to the north from Ontario. CPH struggled in the next two games against the Indy Fuel and the Sylvania North Stars AA team. After our first day of play the team gathered outside at the hotel and enjoyed grilling out as a team or family. Our very own team manager Matt Kiger put on his apron and hat and dazzled us with his burger flipping skills. Earn it belt went to Adelaide Srey, Elena Seeley, and Mills Yingling. Conor Kubitz continues to dazzle us, ending the weekend with 7 goals and 3 assists. Definitely a trip to remember. Growing stronger one game at a time.”
