One of the reasons Carolina Premier Hockey ( CPH) runs so well every year is because like the Rush and Infantry at the USPHL level, this youth hockey organization sets the standard not just for wins and losses, or even sending kids to the next level. CPH sets the standard for whole-person development and building teams of great people who have fun together on and off the ice. Their teams play in tournaments around North America every year and hundreds of kids make lifelong friends and play the great game of hockey. They also win a lot because they bring together good people who want to have fun and want to learn with each other.
The organization of course wants to win games, but this is a team built around development and showing players at all ages why this sport, the sport that millions play around the world, is so fun. In that spirit program director Troy Schwab had this to say about the opening of the 2023-2024 campaign and all the fun the CPH family had. Learn fr
Carolina Premier Hockey hosted its 2023-2024 Kick off party last weekend at Pineville Ice House. This was a special event for all of the CPH hockey family to come together and spend some time together before the season and adventure begins. With over 150 players and an additional 200 family members in attendance, it was clear no one wanted to miss this one.
The organization had a chance to hand out all the new CPH apparel, the players and their families had a chance to skate together, play organized dodgeball, and what seemed to be the highlight of the night was when the players were announced and introduced before players and coaches from all teams came together for the CPH family photo.
Beyond the on ice development and beyond the game, CPH is starting to build a community amongst its families.
Here are a few comments from players and families of CPH:
“The kick off was awesome and all the hockey siblings got to hang out and see each other! I saw so many friends”
“It was a great celebration of the organization and the start of a new season. “
“It was fun seeing everyone and meeting my new team”
“Will never forget seeing all the kids do their parade lap when they were announced. All smiles!”
“My favorite part was when I was announced and all the other players cheered for me”
“This is our first season with CPH and we were blown away with the kick off party. It was a great introduction to how CPH treats their players and families. The attention to detail and level of organization was extremely high. Since then, my son has been telling anyone that will listen about the player introductions and the high-quality gear we received. It really “hooked” him into loving hockey.”
“The CPH kickoff was an outstanding event for the players and families! It was a great opportunity to welcome the new players and their parents to the CPH family.””
