Ahead of a big series against Richmond, the Rush had another 4-0 weekend. Read about how they got to this weekend from last week’s games from Trevor Kleckner and Trevor Jewell.

Chuck Norris 6G 1A, 7 Points. Chucky had a great weekend putting up a decent number of points. He took the team by the reins on Saturday and had a great performance. We look for him to continue his success throughout this upcoming weekend against Richmond. 

Luke Vega 3G 1A, 4 Points. Luke had a great weekend against the Infantry after battling an injury over the past few weekends. He has been a huge part of our team on and off the ice since joining us last season.  

Teddy Bear Toss was a great success with a big turnout. We will be delivering the bears next week to the Pineville Police Department.”

It was a good weekend for us against Columbia. Lots of things to take away from the weekend and discuss in video this week.

Premier we had a couple players that stood out. Carson Beattie had his best weekend to date in a Rush uniform as he had a huge weekend offensively as well as defensively.

Our newest addition, Beau Depencier, had a great weekend up front. He was a catalyst on the offensive side and scored some very key goals for us. He was setting up plays and making things happen all over the ice.

He joined us from the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the CCHL.

Wanted him be cause he a hard working, character guy that sets the tone every time he’s on the ice. He’s skilled but he plays with an edge and keeps opposing teams in their toes.

He made a choice to leave Canada and come here for an opportunity to win.

Those two players were big reasons for our success this weekend.

The Teddy Bear Toss was another successful event. Our players love the energy on that night around the building and scoring that first goal is a ton of fun! It’s always great to see those bears come raining down.
