Northeast Generals Player Profile: Mason Joseph

For the Northeast Generals NA3HL group, going undefeated this far into the season requires not only strong depth up and down the lineup, but also depth in net . Mason Joseph is a big part of why Head Coach Daryl Locke is coaching another team primed to make a run at the Fraser Cup. The net minder is in his second year of junior hockey.

Locke had more to say on Joseph

“ Mason Joseph signed with us in the middle of NAHL camp. Coach Erikson and I were super impressed with the way he battles in the crease. He never gives up on a puck and has tremendous athletic ability. His mental ability to regroup after a goal is excellent. He’s a student of the game who makes mental notes on other teams players. There’s not a goalie that competes harder in practice than Mason. He’s a great teammate and locker room guy. When he steps in the rink he’s all business, which is the top quality I look for in a player. A very business like approach to his craft. He definitely has Tier 2 potential. His upside is very high and will definitely garner a lot of attention at the collegiate level.”
