NA3HL Northeast Generals send five to the Top Prospects Tournament : Read more

For Head Coach Daryl Locke, he has coached in the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament before , happening in a few weeks in Pittsburgh this year. He always loves the honor to do so.

He said “ Coaching these players is an honor and privilege. Coming to the rink everyday you know your getting their best effort. We talk everyday at practice about being accountable to each other. Never taking anything for granted. I think these players, along with the group, have really bought into going hard in practice and it shows in the standings. It’s an honor to be selected to coach these players at the league’s biggest event. Although I’ve done this before, I still find it humbling to have the opportunity. These opportunities don’t come often so I’m going to enjoy the moment with the boys and soak it all in.”

As to the four Generals selected at the NA3HL level, Locke said “ Another great day to be a General. I’m happy for the boys that they received the recognition they rightfully deserve. Payton, Nolan, Matt, and Owen have been solid players from Day 1. These players success is a direct result of the team’s success. There are so many players on this team that are deserving of this honor that it’s a shame more couldn’t be picked. With that said, I can’t wait to see the boys enjoy the moment and show what they can do with the league’s best players. It will be a fun few days.”

The NA3HL is all about giving players a chance to move to the next level. Locke’s team has so many players worthy of this designation, but those picked will have the eyes of the NAHL and college hockey on them.
