The path back: The Charlotte Rush Schedule is out-Some highlights

We talk a lot about the standard with the Charlotte Rush. This team was one goal away from equalizing a Northern Cyclones team whom they outshot all game in the Premier National Championship. They did everything the right way with a cast of talented veterans who have moved on to play college hockey, some rookies that will be back, and some talented newcomers we will highlight in the weeks to come.

With that comes the schedule, one thing we will be watching this year is their games against new division rival, the Columbia Infantry.

Hear from Trevor Kleckner on the schedule and the organization’s thoughts on it.

“We’re excited to announce our schedule for the 2023-2024 season. A couple of changes as Nashville has left our division and Columbia has replaced them. This will obviously make for better travel but also heat up the rivalry between the brother organizations. We open up Saturday, September 16th at home vs the Columbia Infantry.

Different from last year, we will be playing the Columbia Infantry and Carolina Jr. Hurricanes on a home and home basis on Friday’s and Saturday’s. This is much like a collegiate style weekend where we will travel to either Columbia or Raleigh on friday, return home friday night, then play at home on saturday. It’s great for our players to be able to sleep in their own beds and end the weekend series at home.

We will also be returning outdoors to Truist Field, home of the Charlotte Knights AAA baseball team, where we will take on the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes again. This was an awesome experience for our players last year and we have made several adjustments to make this year’s experience even better.

Another few notes, we will be competing in three showcases: Raleigh, NC Showcase (October 6th-9th), Estero, FL Showcase (December 14th-18th), and Tampa, FL Showcase (January 3rd-6th). We are also again hosting the Southeast Division Playoffs at the Pineville Ice House March 9th-11th.The USPHL Nationals location for next season is still to be announced.”
